The Class Action and Complex Litigation team has been or is presently involved in numerous class action cases across the country. Approximately seventy percent of the class action practice has involved the representation of the defendant, in cases ranging from products liability, toxic tort, mass tort, and insurance defense or fraud. A small percentage of our class action practice has involved representation of the plaintiff class, in cases focusing primarily on antitrust, breach of warranty, civil rights and securities litigation. A number of our partners have been or are presently acting as court appointed liaison counsel for parties in major class action cases.

Our attorneys have authored numerous articles on class action and complex litigation topics. While these attorneys work in tandem with members of the firm’s other practice teams depending on the nature of the class action case involved, their experience in this specialized area has proven invaluable. Involvement on both sides of class action litigation has afforded a unique perspective on many class action issues. This experience, coupled with the vast array of research, articles, and pleadings which have been amassed on a wide range of class issues, enables our attorneys to address class action and litigation issues in an efficient yet comprehensive and cost effective manner.
